Abandoned. This really isn’t a bad book. But at 50% in the only things that had happened was that the daughter of the archaeologist went to visit her mother on a dig. I was bored. It wasn’t badly written, it had lots of potential but it was slow. I really didn’t want to waste more time on this because I have so much to read. If you don’t mind a little slow, and a bit like Elizabeth Peters Egyptology books, you might like this. But I’ve been in such a reading slump lately that I couldn’t bring myself to continue on with this.
