Netgalley Review

Like the first volume, I’m not impressed with the art. But the story on the other hand rocks like the first volume.

Bruce Wayne reveals himself to other superheros and their responses are hysterical but short lived.  I don’t know much about Green Arrow, but I should look into more comics with him in it  because I’m digging his snarkyness. Superman reveals Batman’s true identity to the entire planet.  Alfred’s reaction is funny.  Yeay, Harley Quinn, though the artist made her way too slutty.  OMG she gets a magic pill and is super strong. Ripping Lobo’s head off, didn’t see that coming. I was just starting to like Lobo too.  I love Superman being a bad guy (Well sort of bad guy)  because I always found him too goody twoshoes.  Superman killed Green Arrow. WTH?  Ok seriously, this series is awesome. I just wish I liked the art better. But the story is fantastic.  There are some great quotes in it too:

(show spoiler)

“I’d take your religious fervor far more seriously if you weren’t wearing a dressing gown in public. Seriously, did someone sew the superman symbols on or can you get them like that online? ”  - Green Arrow

“ Don’t question the main man’s power, the smell of crazy, it don’t wash away easy: - Lobo

“No one should have ta justify the greatness of a mustache.”-Lobo

“If you think for a second that I’m letting you face him alone, you’re out of your pointy eared head.”- Catwoman to Batman
